A Space for Your Suggestions / community Action survey
Love reading ? Check out the current blog over at Writers' Block. We are seeking youth and millennial writers to expand our reach, and give systemically oppressed Memphians the voice they long to have. We will conduct workshops and events year round that give young and adult citizens access to information about community resources, education/ training, set up mentorships, explore Memphis' social justice history, and more. You can be apart of the change by being a sponsor for the blog, this site, or our upcoming newsletters. Contact [email protected] for more information.
Good work advocate! Great! You've submitted your suggestions, and we will send all material gathered to Memphis decision makers prior to the next Memphis meeting. Will YOU be there? RSVP Now so we can get a good count of interests, and explore other venues if necessary.

Though tensions were high at Monday, July 11, 2016's historic leader chat with the community following BLM inspired protests, we must take the time to acknowledge the uncomfortable nature of change. This was an unprecedented community oriented move that has not been seen in any other city following a BLM protest that interfered with traffic. With not a single arrest on Sunday, and no violence on the part of both police officers and citizens, we must pause to give props where they are due. Grow Memphis grow! At the forefront of a civil rights movement is exactly where we belong. Check out the difference in write ups about Memphis vs other cities in the news stories to the right.
